Online therapy in BSL
BSL Healthy Minds provides counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) online. Once referred to our service, you and your therapist will talk about how you’re feeling and choose the type of therapy that best matches your needs.
At the sessions
You’ll chat one-to-one with your therapist in BSL, using video calls. Online messaging is used to support the sessions, for example, if you don’t understand a sign or to share links.
You’ll have a one-hour BSL video call with your therapist each week. This may be for an agreed number of sessions or ongoing. It can vary from person to person.
